The ERC-Stennis is a remote facility of the Mississippi State University ERC. Located at the NASA John C. Stennis Space Center on the Mississippi
Gulf Coast, ERC-Stennis was formed to allow for improved collaboration
with the on-site agencies. The primary research activities within
ERC-Stennis are conducted through the GeoResources Insitute and include
the areas of remote sensing as well as ocean and
environmental applications. Additionally, the DoD Center for Programming Environment
and Traning provides support to the DoD user community for the Naval
Oceanographic Office's Major Shared Resource Center. The Mississippi
State University's Science and Technology Research Center is co-located
within the ERC-Stennis facilities.
